Sometimes I
like something very much. A bit too much that I can’t contain it myself. Or
else I’ll just keep daydreaming, keep delutioning..... okay stop. Let’s write
it down.
So, let’s go
straight out to the main star, Akihiko Sanada from Persona 3. Uh, he’s appear in
other Persona too, but to be honest, I’m new to Persona and at first I don’t
now what is that about (all I now is just a grup of high schooler with a gun
lol), and I decide not to search and just play, and I’m so in love. Okay back
to the topic.

So here’s
Akihiko. An upperclassman of our beloved school. Boxing club captain, check. Smart,
check. Extremely popular, check. Silvery hair, check. Manly hairstyle, check. Serious
expression, check. Eyes that make you melt, check. Bottom lashes, check. Skin
as white as snow, check. Sixpack, check. Warm smile, check. Appear thin but also have
satisfying amount of muscle, check. Hot voice, check (damn VA??? I never liked
Eng VA as much as I do in Persona)
At first I
do think that he’s just okay. I mean, he’s not even my type of chara (unless
that board thin body, damn I have weird fetishes). But once I tried it out,
it’s not so bad. Uh, I mean, good. Extremely good!!

Let me write
it down.
At first he’s
just an upperclassman who fight alongside us in Tartarus (I use to go with him
because his punch is sexy he's strong). Later, I
notice how he looks good in red (lol it’s important). Oh and I fall for his black
gloves. Guys with gloves is very hot. Ahem, I’m sorry.
As I said.
He’s extremely sexy when fighting. Expecially when he do the combos. 1 punch, 2
punch, 3 punch. Critical!! Along with my heart! I just love it when I almost
finish the shadows and he’s the one who said “Let me pinch in.” (husky voice)
Oh damn! My head went wild.
Also his persona have the healing ability too. Most
of times I get hit a lot and he’ll be there to heal me (isn’t that just cute).
And he once saved me from a critical attack. The shadow were to hit me but he
PUSH me away and he get the attack instead. OH MY HERO. After that I heal him
and the whole battle become lovey dovey (at least for me lol)
Once you get
to his lover route there’s no way back. Y’know. Akihiko maybe not the most
bishounen (look at beautiful Ryoji), but for me he’s a strong fighter. A
beautiful strong fighter. Nuff said. He had a lot of fangirls but he’s not
interested in it. He only thinking about strength and about people he loves. Do
you know how it feels when someone who’s not interested in girls finally fall
in love with you? Yep, that’s it. He become the sweetest and best boyfriend you could ever
ask.
Okay so... here’s the girl. Arisato Minako / Hamuko. But I
like the name Minako better.
So typically WE decided how her attitude would be, but for
me she’s a cheerful girl. And a leader. We could said she’s a girl who put
someone else before herself. Selfless smiling girl who lead everyone to battle.
I could see this work with every guys avaiable even Akihiko.
Akihiko is socially awkward especially with girls. Mitsuru
is an exception because he knows her for
a long time. Minako is a big change for him. For the first time he get along
well to new girl. They often go home together and even go for special ramen or
beef bowl (I love beef bowl). Minako certainly step on his life. And he didn’t
mind. He feel comfortable. Minako become one of his life and he know it.
You know Akihiko only think about strength and how to be
strong. But it will be different when he mets Minako. Minako is strong. Yet she’s
able to be nice to others, to smile heartfully while holding the weapon and
fight. This sight make Akihiko confused of this new feeling. So that’s why he
telling Minako to avoid fight. Maybe he just want to see her smiling for
herself for once. And most of all he didn’t want her to hurt and he want to be
the ONE to protect her. He’s just confused.
And he’s as dense as rock. The day he brought Minako to the
rooftop, he said he want to spend time with her somewhere quiet. He said he
want to work hard to protect what precious to him, including Minako (let a
scream break). He’s saying it! So close! Yet he’s still confused and we need to
tell him that what he’s feeling is love. L-O-V-E. “This is love?” and he
finally said the magical words. “Will you be my girl?” Damn Akihiko. Yes, and
he’s hugging her. You want to know how a hug from a boxing champion feels like?
I need to stop until my face cooling down.
And one time FINALLY he ask her to come to his room. Cough. So
the room is so typical Akihiko. A bed and many training equipment. They sit in
the floor (uh) and he can’t calm down because it’s the first time he bring a
girl to his room. Aw yes first girlfriend. So, he start talking about his dead
sister and how he glad to met Minako. Like a sunshine that finally make him
moved on with his live. Minako may not doing something special to do that, but her
being itself is a bless for Akihiko. Again a magical word. “I hope you didn’t
mind I’m saying this. But you mean a lot for me. I love you.”
HOLY TARTAR SAUCE.
You spend a lot time with Akihiko. (I’m dying to know damn)
Sooo... He like to hug her. A lot. Sometimes Minako going
home from school with him and hang out to his room. He said he’s not good at
words when action will do. (I suggest they hugged for a long time while sometimes
talking about small things, maybe followed with kiss on Minako’s hair and forehead).
Akihiko may be awkward but Minako is good with people so it’s just the matter
of time. They’re feeling comfortable with the relationship and Akihiko feeling
content to have her. It’s just perfect.
And a Christmas date. Damn he come straight to Minako’s class
to pick her up even when the fangirls are following him. He didn’t care, he
want to see her. They go to the beautifully decorated mall. Cold and close. They
eat some snack and he happily FED her. Oh the shy Akihiko finally make a move. Then
he give her a present (I wonder did he buy alone or with someone like Fuuka or
Mitsuru). A music box. Oh it’s not an ordinary music box. It’s filled with
Akihiko’s love and he said it’s for storing jewelry. What else? He said he will
give her a present every year to put in the box. HOLY. This pairing will
absolutely get married. No doubt. |

I think people from dorm will know their relationship even
without they said anything. Akihiko will definitely not saying. But Mitsuru will
know but keep silent anyway. Yukari will notice the hint and will asking her
when she’s got very curious. Fuuka didn’t ask because she’s think it’s just
natural. Junpei, even stupid, will know later. Shinji already notice the hint
even before they become couple. Aigis will keep silent. And Ken is the one who
knows nothing. As the time goes by, they feeling comfortable showing affection
in front of other SEES members. But not something too much. It will just either
lover’s scolding, lover’s conversations, light skinship or least, holding
hands.
Oh and yes! A kiss. I think their first kiss can be anywhere.
Number one possibilities is Akihiko’s room. But it can be in school, like
between the curtain, the back of door, or even in tartarus. They would be doing
it at the place with just two of them. Aki is shy so maybe Minako give him a
hint but he still dominating afterall.
So ahem. Now I’d like to talk about ‘’’’’things’’’’’ they
MAY do. This is completely delutional don’t laugh.
First. At the christmas date. When Minako is cold and Akihiko
immediately said “Want to come to my room?” Uh. Cold. Room. Warming up. If you
know what I mean. Or I’m just pervert. So the screen went black and he said
“Merry Christmas.” (husky voice) DAMN. You spend time with Akihiko until night
fall. (I’M DYING TO KNOW DUH) Atlus is excellent at making the dirty stays
undirty. Many fans said they definitely doing it. But there’s more hint. |

Second. He know she’s not light. There’s a jealous
converstion between Minako, Akihiko, and Ken. Ken said he can carry Minako
because she’s light. And Akihiko said she’s not as light as she looks. And Ken
got like: “How did you know?” (Akihiko silent) Probably you need to wait until
you grow up, Ken.
Third. When they’re in his room and they fall silent, he
said “Let our body do the talking.” Uh I’m sorry for being delutional. But the
words itself so ambiguous.
But actually... I kinda sure they did. About 65% if I put it
on percentage. If they do, I’m sure it will be sweet. Something like they holding
each other hands the whole session. Or Akihiko is afraid that he may be too rough
because of his strength (damn). Or Minako have trouble to hold her voice because
they’re in dorm. I’m sure the first time was spontaneous, without preparation because
they just got a perfect mood.
Ahem I’m sorry I’m such a bad fangirl. I just (badly) want
them to be one. I mean... yeah.
And the last..... The ultimate last.
(SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T FINISHED THE GAME. I’VE
WARNED YOU)

Soooo... yeah. They fight Nyx and not succeded. But there’s
Minako, the hope, the miracle. So she becomes humanity’s last hope. You know
what did Akihiko said when he can’t move an inch yet he saw Minako walking to
the moon to fight? “No, not again!” He’s pretty much didn’t want to lose someone
precious anymore. But he can’t do anything at this state. So, she fights it
alone and seal the enemy. Dark hour dissapear. And I’m surprised she’s still
alive. Everyone crying in joy and relieve, even Akihiko.
BUT misteriously, the next day everyone didn’t remember
anything about those days anymore. Even Akihiko become a stranger. Only Minako
remembers. And Aigis. At the day of the promise they finally remember too and they
came to rooftop. Akihiko can’t calm and he run first. He lost his breath.
Saying sorry for everything. He finally remembers how he fall in love with her.
He’s glad but also feeling guilty. He held her as if he didn’t want to let go. But
Minako is tired. Even so she can hear the words from her beloved Aki. “And
starting now we’ll never be apart.”
The last word she ever hear.
Oooooh, that break my heart. I’m seriously stop for a while
to feel the pain, lol. Just why.. Why Atlus?? Finally they can live as a normal
teenager. They can having fun. Finally they can live a whole normal life. No
Nyx, and no end of the world. But it’s the end of the world for Akihiko.
I bet he think Minako is just sleeping, but then when
everyone come, maybe Mitsuru notice something different and immediately run her
to hospital. But she’s dead. Such a bad timing huh? When it’s the day of their
promise yet they need to face this loss. Everyone will be crying, even Mitsuru.
Akihiko can’t cry at first. But he will when he finally grasp the reality.
Desperate, guilt, great loss. He lost everything matter to him. Parents, sister,
best friend. And now his girl, his sunshine. Just when after he can finally move
on with his life, then a new loss make he stuck again. He must be blaming
himself with everything he’s doing before he regain his memories. What the hell
he’s doing when she’s alone and forgotten. Just when they finally can live
normal, falling in love again, facing the future. She didn’t. She’s stuck with
Nyx because she’s the one who seal it with her. She’s not in the same place with
Miki or Shinji. She didn’t have future. She didn’t have place with everyone. It’s
the end. |

I bet Akihiko will feel guilty for a long, long time. He may
be strong, but it’s just as big as his loss for Miki. Everything in his room,
even the city’s scenery itself will make him remember about her. And remember
the music box? I bet he will buy a new jewelry every Christmas and put it in
the cold music box. Without her there to be his joy. No one can do anything
about it. Even when Akihiko can finally move on, he won’t forget her. I’m sure
he’ll stay alone for a long time. His heart is trapped afterall.
Okay, let’s stop the whole angsty things. Let imagine on the
more happier side. I said imagine, okay . So it’s not canon (hey, let’s stop
crying)
Let’s imagine what will happen IF Minako didn’t die.
Akihiko is graduating. He continue to college and do training
and have side jobs. He will do anything for Minako. She will be the happiest
girl. After some years’ Christmas, Akihiko will give her a proposal ring. She
will gladly accept. They exchange vows. Have a small garden party. Having
honeymoon somewhere quiet. They will have babies not long after the marriage. A
twins maybe. Akihiko will be a proud inspector papa. They live in a small but
content house. There will be friends who come to see Minako and the babies.
Friends who will tease Akihiko for being a daddy. Full of happiness and joy. And
a glimmering music box. Not much but
it’s just perfect.
In my imagination that’s it.
Excuse me for being emotional.
Damn Persona 3, I love you so much it hurts. Akihiko and
Minako, I love you too. Please be happy. Even if you can’t. I’m not crying.
Damn.
